Frequently Asked Questions

Cost- first time visits include evaluation, treatment and home program provided are $100 and 60 minutes in length. Subsequent visits are based on a cost of $25 per 15 minute block and can be 30 minutes or longer. I do not take insurance but will provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance if desired. I take cash or credit cards.

Visit Frequency- I usually see people once a week with chronic conditions. This gives the system time to process the treatment as well as time for you to practice your home program. Some acute injuries I see two times a week. However the frequency can be adjusted to your needs and your goals.

Healing Time- There never is any set answer to this question. I always try to limit the total treatments needed. However, with a simple acute injury, it could be 1-3 visits to evaluate, treat, educate, provide a home program then reevaluate your progress within a 4-6 week time period. With chronic injuries that involve
multiple systems, it could be weekly visits for 1-3 months then reduce down to 1-2 times a month. Based on your diagnosis, goals and needs, we will discuss this on your first visit and come up with a plan.

What to wear- loose clothing that can allow for hands on therapy.

Can a family member come to the session?- I highly encourage family involvement. There are many ways to help with the healing process and if you have family that is interested, I can teach them some techniques so that you can get hands on treatments at home.
